Classic scoob in shock wave to new age!!!
#32
lol ..this made me laugh, i know how you feel mate, you feel right stupid when they don't wave back.....
Was coming round a roundabout turning right to go up the slip road onto the M8, another scooby driver with a full car i might add, was waiting to come out onto the roundabout , i waved as i went past and could clearly be seen by him and his passengers, he never bothered to wave back and then wanted to race me up the slip road and along the m8 i assume ...i never bothered of course, and yes i felt like a right blonker ...
I think the newage drivers think classic drivers will not wave and visa versa and most likely right, it was a myth that turned into reality i think .. we should all make a bond now, classic or newage lets wave !!

Mine's a classic and my husband has a new age or whatever the term is.....*puts girly head on*.......it's a blue one....whatever and we both wave at all scooby drivers. We then say 'Miserable f*****s' if they don't wave back

oddly enough I live in brentwood not far from romford and I wave to all and sundry, i actually get the most shocked looks from classic owners when I wave to them from my my05 as I think they expect new age owners to not wave to them certainly not the other way round.

IMO the classic is the best looking impreza, but hey! if we all like the same things, life would be rather boring!
I bought a classic because I love the impreza and the style of the classic.
But I acknowledge all scooby drivers.

Got a wave from a siver classic on whalebone lane just past moby dick in Romford and nearly swerved off the road.
Never had a wave from a classic before assumed they were either owned by people who
1) had picked up old ones for a few grand to rag and weren't into scoobs or
2) by people who consider them the true scoob and hate new ages and think they are driven by people who dont get the whole scooby thing, which is what i mostly assumed as i never got a wave or any acknowledgement.
thats it just an observation

Can I please have their registration??
Classics have a rule that we are the original, the best and the true scooby owners.
We hold monthly meetings and one item that is discussed is the Scooby Classic Wave .... which will not, under any circumstances, be shown to New Age driver/owners.

I remember both of the Gareths and Gina but I still can't put a face to your name - god this is going to bug me all day.
Congratulations, having kids is the best thing in the world (even though they drive you insane). My little boy now calls my car his ooby doo and sings "ooby ooby doo, where are u" when he is in the back. He also finds it highly amusing when I overtake a car, he just sits in his car seat and laughs his head off
