Classic scoob in shock wave to new age!!!
Got a wave from a siver classic on whalebone lane just past moby dick in Romford and nearly swerved off the road.
Never had a wave from a classic before assumed they were either owned by people who
1) had picked up old ones for a few grand to rag and weren't into scoobs or
2) by people who consider them the true scoob and hate new ages and think they are driven by people who dont get the whole scooby thing, which is what i mostly assumed as i never got a wave or any acknowledgement.
thats it just an observation

Can I please have their registration??
Classics have a rule that we are the original, the best and the true scooby owners.
We hold monthly meetings and one item that is discussed is the Scooby Classic Wave .... which will not, under any circumstances, be shown to New Age driver/owners.

Pete, it is just that people don't wave at you. Only kidding, up in Scotland there seem to be quite a few that have a scooby as a company car and know no different. I don't care on age or style they usualyy get a wave . Some respond some look at you as if to say what the F are you doiing.

hmmm I find its the new age drivers that dont bother to wave at me (classic driver).
I must have passed about 4 newage subuars this week, mostly owned by middle aged balding fat guys, and not one wave.
I thought it was because newage drivers thought they were too good to wave at a lowly classic lol.

I'm a classic driver and funny enough i had a wave off a newage driver today. I probally wouldn't have given him a wave had he not waved first. Not because i'm rude i just wasn;t paying that much attention...
It was my first wave. So silvr newage driver in Bedford.... YOU HAVE MY CHERRY!

Same down this way, most are newage drivers and so don't know about the scoobywave that and wagon owners, 9/10 classic will wave back
Ive given up on newage scoobs though, seem to be driven by pompous people, bar the genuine enthusiasts of course

Was coming round a roundabout turning right to go up the slip road onto the M8, another scooby driver with a full car i might add, was waiting to come out onto the roundabout , i waved as i went past and could clearly be seen by him and his passengers, he never bothered to wave back and then wanted to race me up the slip road and along the m8 i assume ...i never bothered of course, and yes i felt like a right blonker ...
I think the newage drivers think classic drivers will not wave and visa versa and most likely right, it was a myth that turned into reality i think .. we should all make a bond now, classic or newage lets wave !!
