Well thanks for the replies regarding my Number plate....

If Subaru UK don't answer my warranty queries soon it not just the number plate but the whole car which will be 4 sale. They will not give a written answer if my warranty will be intact if the car is serviced outside the UK and since the car is now 14 months old I want the piece of mind.

I have already had to have the timing belt replaced and pay for it up front which I am now about to try and reclaim the dosh. So if anyone wants to buy the whole car and plate please get in contact for more details.

Dave

Cool

First time I've actually looked for this - seems I am a middle man at 0520....

BTW, any P1 owners recommend the SS downpipe in addition to the backbox?

Dennisi....backbox on my P1 makes very little difference performance wise..praps 5 or 6 bhp...got a Scoobysport SS Downpipe on her though and that does help
I didnt know there was a plate with the Number on (you learn something new every day!)...I shall be ferretting around me wheel arches now to discover what number I am!

I'm not sure what mine's is yet. I'm a wee bit confused There's a plate on the drivers side AND on the passenger side!

Also I've got a Induction Kit (which makes lots of whooshing noises) and a Mongoose Grp A Full SS Exhaust which in my mind makes the car respond much better. Going on the Rolling Road soon so I'll see what the power output is!

Dennisi,

Shouldn't be noisy although one of the P1s I looked at buying also had the same problem. Get your local dealer to sort it out at its next service.

No. 360 - I hope it's not on the road right now, 'cos if it is, someone else is driving it...

for a start it depends how you define fast, acceleration or top speed! I am assuming you mean top speed, but acceleration is the imprezas trump card so why compare stupid things like top speed. Any big merc or bmw is more than a match for the impreza at 150+ mph and they are all limited.

second of all, no one said standard impreza, and doesnt the term impreza include the P2000? or 2001 wrc?

on top of that, what is the final drive and gearing of the P1?

Because any 21.6/100mph car with an 8000rpm redline, such as an sti 4 could get there with less weight than a P1, and less drag due to having a small rear spoiler!
