If the police find a car a week there, why no obo? Maybe we ought to do our own stake out, then the next time they turn up ........................!

Have you got alocation m8? A map ref would be handy.

Glad you got most of it back, maybe the insurers will make it good as new and you may get an advantage out of it all - with a bit of luck.

Nice idea terry noughty but nice
Years ago some bike lads did a stake out in a well known bike theft hot spot. they parked the bike up and hid in the back of a transit when the SCUMBAGS showed up too try to remove said bike they jumped out the back (sweeney style ) and gave them a good kicking Then to top it all off they dropped them off at the local nik with a sign around there necks saying what they had been up too LOVE IT

Smile Cheers

Im deffo up for a stake out 100% be fun but wdnt want to do 10 years for murder or manslaughter as we would of prepaired it i would get murder charge and im not up for that part so i wont be setting it up cant just hit some 1 and leave it big problem i got

But thats exactly what i would love to do im so glad i didnt see them in action i think some things are meant to happen like on that day i was just getting my sti re mapped new turbo and a few other bits but after it got to 420 + bhp and trq it was adviced a ppg would be good so the car stayed at the clinic to get this work done, so im thinking they was coming for that car but took what was available at the time the car i was doing up slowly so my main carwasnt stolen but im still gutted cameras coming to be fitted before sti arrives back and a few other bits of security

I beleive the wagon will be back in my posesssion tmz so i will take pics of it and post damage and try work out how they took it from under my nose

Damned shame for you m8 . Will the insurance cover your costs? I hope you can get a decent replacement . Plenty for sale out there, just gotta get the right one. You tempted to buy it back and start again ?

Any clearer details of how they actually took it?? Would be helpful to all of us to try and prevent the same thing happening, why had they put different wheels on, how did they push it round corners if steering lock was still on

Usually all these idiots come equipt with is a screwdriver and dent puller, cars with cat 1 systems usually outsmart them as they are usually thick as ****e, for someone to go to that much effort suggests they knew what they were doing which doesnt match the usual young car theifs description,

Most of the time they would walk straight past and pinch a 1987 fiesta 1.1 popular or something as **** and easy to break into,

Give us the details, Dave M
