Have to say that when we used to stay in a flat off the Hardgate one night some feckin tw@t ripped the spoiler off my other halfs car. The police were so useless to the point where there were witnesses who pointed the guys out so they lifted them and released them without charge due to lack of evidence.

The theiving b@stards had hidden it and must have come back later as a good friend of mine told me that he had just sprayed a spoiler and put it on a Cav SRi but had not realised it was off my otherhalfs car.

Called the police gave the details etc etc, they did **** all

Moral of the story, take the law into your own hands because no one else will.

 

3 years back woke one night with the sound of my squeaky side gate opening looked out to see a car at the end of my drive and 2 lads in my drive......lucky for me i had 2 mates stopping at my house that night we managed to catch 1, the other got away and the car left both of them.............. The one we did catch we beat the sh*t out of him.......put him in my mates car, whilst doing that i got my petrol can and filled it with luke warm water.......took him to some local woods 5 miles away and poured the water WHICH HE THOUGHT WAS PETROL over him, he was ****ting his self and give us the names and address's of the driver and the guy that got away. We never got the guy that ran but we did get the driver of the car. i had to get the locks changed as they totally ****ed em but the petrol can worked a treat as we got the money from the guy we poured the petrol on..........morale of the story..........if you have some hard mates, sort it out yourself.

Never had any break in attempts either to date funny enough

Original post said the police weren't interested, if we now know this **** has no licence, if anyone spots the car on the road I'd suggest following the car and a quick call to the police.

While I completely agree with the fact that the police don't seem to care much anymore about stuff like this and I too have been subject to the same lack of interest from them as others, immature, unintelligent posts like the one quoted above just annoy me. I have only just started properly coming back on these forums after being driven away for years with the deluge of chavvy, rude and just plain pointless posts that have brought this place down in my opinion. This forums has mostly adults on it and the ****-poorly covered up bad language is 10 times worse than on most other forums I go on to. What is the need for posts like the one above???? Exactly.

P.S. I fully support the 'Caveman Law' approach to the thieving scumbag as long as the police are doing nowt about it. It does indeed suck that in this day and age we would get in more trouble than the thief.........

You'd always have got in trouble for that. It's nothing to do with "this day and age".

 

I meant as in back in the day if someone got a good beating in exchange for being a good for nothing it was left at that, he wouldn't normally go to the police, get the vigilante charged and end up getting less time for all the things he had done as opposed to the person protecting what's theirs .

I could explain that far better but meh, I've literally just woken up.
