On a Saxo??? - please.

You are right though - I am scared of owning a cosworth. The repair bills.....the constant time off the road......the excessive cost in tuning the car to try and match modern machinery.....the image.....being associated with muppets like you.....

Anyway, its morning - time for school Mitch

Good surname though - I guess that is what you are when the Dagenham Dustbin breaks down!!

If I wanted a cossie (or should that be cozzzzzzah) I'd buy one.

Why would anyone be afraid of driving a Cossie?

There's nothing particularly big or clever about 300bhp plus unless you want to be king of the pub talk... You could modify a cavalier turbo and get that...

Scoobies are fragile ? Whatever you think.

Do try having a life sometime, it can be quite fun.

Muppetisation please. Someone do the honours.

Cool

Yep, I'm with Chiark on this one - banish this thread to the place it deserves to be.

Cool

Interesting this "Mitch" guy - perhaps he's scared of owning a Scooby

If he took the time to read the other contents of the BBS he would find that the owners here try to improve their cars in a sensible manner ie: exhaust, suspension, brake upgrades etc. Then the engine gets looked at if necessary, remembering the Scoob has more power in basic form than the Cosworth and is a better handling car when set up properly. The only Cosworth's I've ever come across just want to race or generally annoy me on the roads because they have "chipped" the engine and/or added a pop off valve.....w4ankers

Somone point this moron in the direction of rainbow man for a lesson on what a properly sorted Cosworth can do in the hands of someone who can drive it.

Please NO.
I agree with Mr Cookie and Dave T-S, don't send it to the Muppet Forum. We have certain standards to maintain, and this **** falls well short of those!

Snake.

Thumbs down

Mitch remember the standard UK Impreza has always had the Cossworth range on performance, also lets face it all there is under a Cossworth bonnet is a 16 valve turbo charged pinto motor, unless you buy a genuine RS 500 (The only Cossworth worth having.) Please come back when you would like to talk sense and I hope you get your Max Power subscription for Christmas.

Wink

Oh well,
Mitch, apart from you being a 'MUPPET' and trying to provoke a response saying that Subaru's are 'fragile??' well how many broken cossies do you see??? alot more than scooby's!!
The one thing that our cars are definately good for is practicality. Why do you think alot of people want imprezas???
why not go out and buy a coswooof, hmmm because cosworths suffer from alot more than scoobs do, lets start with turbo lag should we???? how about expensive servicing costs???? more than a scoob?? you take your car to a ford dealer, see if he will service your car?? Bet you he turns round and does one of 2 things, 1. laugh at you!! 2. charges you some extortionate price for an intermediate service!!
You know that my last DEALER service cost me 94 quid??
Cheaper than a mondeo's!!!
As for tuning, yes the cosworth engine is good, mainly due to the fact that its a de-tuned race engine!! its just ashame that the people that get their hands on them are such idiots like you!!
well if you want to talk big Mitch you may as well start acting it and bring your car (laughs!!) down to a Subaru track day, i just want to see the look on your face when your passed by an Impreza sport on a corner
Now mitch, be a good boy and take that baseball cap off will you?? dont you know that there is a visor to stop your head getting burnt when the sunroof is open????

Oh and when your car blows up and you want some help, dont flag a Subaru down, cos he'll just laugh at you

Mitch,

I'm faisly unbiased on this, though I do own a Scoob......and it's more than capable against the majority of cossies...

Theres nothing wrong with banter, but the way you've come on here, does give the impression of light hearted talk etc.......

I have a lot of friends in the RS community - and they regard people like you in the same way we do.

i.e, you are a complete pr1ck

Thanks to the person who emailed me about this...

I haven't read it all but it really is muppet-tastic judging by the first post...

By the power invested in me, I now pronounce this thread muppetised

I agree with the boys on this one ... don't send it to the muppet forum ... just lock it up ..... it's very boring hearing some people say controversial things just for the sake of picking a pointless fight.

We all drive the cars that we want to drive and hopefully respect other people for the cars they drive.

Just send Mitch back into space where he belongs please.
