New shape M3
#62
"just how much are they having to pay to have the privelige of owning a scooby-beater? I'd rather have a house than an M3"
Um, that is rediculous, Im sure the majority wouldnt choose the M3 over a house, the fact of the matter is they can afford both, just like you can afford your Scoob and a house.
By that theory, every car more expensive than a Scooby would be a "yes, but you could have had a Scoob, AND a bag of crisps" car. No one need ever buy anything better than a Scoob, because for that priveledge, they could have had a Scoob and something else.
If the guy prefers the M3, and can afford it as comfortably as most can afford their Scoobs, then you cant argue against his choice because of how much he was willing to spend.
For the extra, you get a better built car, far superior interior, and better performance, but I will agree, lot of the extra goes on the badge. And an M3 is so much more rare than a Scoob that its scary.
