Sadly nothing too exciting.
I'm changing jobs and getting a fuel card but they'll only allow me to put normal unleaded in so it needs tweeking from the 99ron setting it's on now.
Although to help limit any power loss I'll be having a wrapped up-pipe put on as well
Oh and I'm having it serviced and the alignment done as well.
Should I just go for Zaks fast road setup or do you recommend something different mate?

Sweet, so for not much outlay you got almost 100Ft Lbs of extra torque, cool. Did your car make the manufacturers numbers to start with ? My 2.5 was bang on the subaru numbers.

i actually dont know as i had done the pipes and filters before but it registered 212bhp at wheels roughly 240 ish at crank. so would have been very close i guess before hand.

My standard WRX (apart from a PPP exhaust) got 202bhp at the wheels pre-remap.
Added a Revolution Apollo CAI kit and it got 202bhp at the wheels
Zak remapped it and it got 212bhp at the wheels (I think).
However, if he hadn't told me the figure post remap I would have sworn that he'd added 50bhp the change felt that significant!

Dont chase numbers fella, just feel the difference with it on the road.
Unfortunately for Zak, he doesnt inflate his power figures, so therefore looks "on paper" less than some other tuners.
99% of the bhp figures quoted on here is absolute @rse anyway.
Go and have your car mapped, feel the difference and then look at the numbers. I bet you it will make more than quoted on any of the rollers anyway

I can only agree, just had my car mapped, was originally PPP'd now the difference is amazing, noticeably smoother power delivery and much more mid range grunt just where you need it.
Should do for 6 months or so until I fancy a few more horses

Just registering my interest officially. Before the remap is done, I would want to have a new downpipe and maybe up-pipe.
My car is a 2004 WRX with current mods only being air filter and H&S centre & backbox
I have been told before that before I have the remap, I will need an uprated fuel pump. Is this right?
