Got sent a few teaser pics from Neil @ T-Logic of the rotated kit mid build.
Uppipe is Inconell and modified from my GT spec one. The rest of the kit is in stainless. Hopefully i'll collect this tomorrow night and post some better pics.

Im sure you'll agree it looks rather nice. Im getting quite excited now

Will look better once its all ceramic coated I think. Although Neils welds are pretty enough that I don't want to cover them up. Lol

Intercooler pipes will be from X-works mate and the inlet is already covered... dont you rememebr my custom carbon trumpet?

Just stopped by the powdercoaters on the way home to collect some of my parts. There is alot more that were still too hot to take home, so i'll collect them when i can.

Im delighted with the finish on these, i couldnt help but unwrap some parts to take some photos to show you guys.

Here you can see the cam covers in complete matte finish, the gloss finish on the x-over and the machine silver on the alternator.

All parts are one of these 3 colours.

The quality of finish really is nice, im quite pleased

Okay guys, heres tonights work.

Itching to see the new look i fitted the x-over pipe and the water temp sender, im liking the gloss blck on the new block.
I got the final 2 buckets reground to spec so they got dropped in and the final clearances re checked. All good. So then the relevant cam caps were sealed up and all torqued to spec. Cam seals went in.
Valve clearances checked one last time before the covers went on.
Covers went on with all new gaskets and seals inside and out. These were all sealed up and torqued to spec.
Once ive colected the rest of the parts from the powdercoaters which include the water pipes we can progress some more.
Its all looking rather good now i must say.

Just back from Neil @ T-logic, like a kid in a sweet shop i couldnt wait to take some pics of this little setup.
Delighted isnt the word, the quality of his work is exceptional.
V-band inconel uppipe and 321 stainless downpipe. I think i'll let the pics do the talking.

This little lot is all hand made by Neil and puts the RCM item in the shaddows and at a better price!

Pure automotive **** there frayz, you should have an expletive material warning in the title . Im hopefully getting a system made up by neil early next year. Inconal is great, i have a complete inconal manifold and it is lighter then the standard up pipe. does neil purge the welds?

Yes mate, all welds are purged. The systems that Neil makes are built to WRC standard and when you look at my pipes inside and out its easy to see why he supplied Prodive and Ford for so many years.

Not much to update this at the moment. Im waiting to get my sump back as thats been away being baffled. Also waiting on my modified AVCS line and other parts to be zinc coated. Once these are on i can go ahead and fit up all the timing assembly.

Also wonding if i should bother buying the Cosworth/RCM anti skip belt guide or not?
£40 for jewellery or function?

In the meantime ive fitted up some of the water, breather lines and reassembled the alternator and PAS pump. Both look rather nice all powdercoated up

Personally I prefer the Tomei item as it looks meatier and has the name forward facing for that important designer look.
But hey you pays your money and makes your choice.

Contact Neil @ Thermal Logic for pricing. But your question is almost a million dollars more expensive.

Soon Neil, just waiting on a couple of items that will have a domino effect once they arrive. I have loads I can do but not till I get the oil pan and AVCS lines back.
I did however find some of the original shade of vht red and have redone my intake manifold.
I has only 3 lugs left on it now. 2 for the header tank and one for the boost hose. The rest have been removed and smoothed. I'll get some pics up tomorrow hopefully so you can see what more I've done.

Well not much to update. I should get my oil pan back tomorrow and i picked up some other modified pipes etc tonight so these will be droped of to be plated tomorrow also.

In the meantime ive had a delivery of a full set of timing idlers (cheers Alyn @ As Performance - top service as always)

Drilled/tapped my X-over pipe to take the Defi water temp sender.

Made up a feed/take off for the Defi oil pressure sender and retain the OEM oil press switch.

Made up a boss to take my air charge temp sensor that replaces the OEM PCV valve that will no longer be used.

Removed almost all bosses from the manifold and refinished in wrinkle red (original VHT shade)

Generally mocking stuff up. Some of the above parts are loose assy untill i get the pipeworkl back. As soon as the modified pipes come back from plating i can progresss quite alot more
