Quick update on this.
Late change to spec includes a swap to Lateral long Crower H beam billet rods and Lateral custom wiseco pistons to suit.
The pistons are ever so slightly larger than the last set so the block has gone to be index honed to suit. I should get it back next week. The pistons/rods bearings have all been measured, checked and weighed. Now the complete rotating assembly only differs by 0.6grams.

I'll re-inspect, re-measure and re-clean again once its back.
Then dare i say it... i can actually get some tools out and start putting the short motor together.
Any competent engine builder would have thrown this together by now.

I guess i cant be all that for taking this long
Yes mate, im told i should have the block back Tues/Wed ish.

Now is not the time to start rushing!
I was speaking to APi David whilst up there yesterday with Bob Rawle. Apparently the new SC billet turbos are the way to go

Minor problem with the pod... the wire grouper/cluster in the back is a little too big so going to need some 52mm o-rings to push the gauges out a few mm, should be easily solved though.
Good stuff.

Sorry fella
Yep.. just get that block together!
Have you got round to doing the non-engine bits? Such as fitting the V3's etc?
Ordered some 52mm o-rings this morning, hopefully have some finished pictures soon...

Not bothered doing the V3s yet as I can't set the height till the car's full weight again.
Get some pics up once your gauges are in

Block now index honed for clearance to suit the new Wiseco buckets. This needs another measure, inspection and wash before she goes together.
Some snaps of the new internals if youre interested.
Build should be underway next week.

Hay Frayz, glad to see your making some progress.....still trying to figure out how you can have bore 1 and 2 beside each other on the RH case? Surely that should be 1 & 3?

That wasnt me mate. The guy that modified the block just put that on there for his own reference. I made him laugh when showed him that the cyl numbers were actually cast on the side of the block lol.
So please excuse those, they bare no resemblence to anything. lol

Lol Frayz....i'm assuming the machine shop guy was a friend? i.e. the place who CNC machine the heads?
Did you get the rotated pipes in the end and sort yourself out? as mine are still sitting in the garage.
