Getting really funked off trying to get my Recaro to fit in the car.
Trying to do it and take measurements on my own in the dark is proving to be a right royal pain in the ***. I need to know its in the right place, the only way that can be done is to be sitting in it!!
I never thought it would be this awkward to get right.
Grrrrrr

Little update on parts arrival.
FINALLY!!
My all new KW Variant 3 coilovers arrived yesterday.
Ive had a quick look at them and they seem much meatier than that of the old units. They have a newly designed valve system with improved feel on the adjustment screws and they now run external fluid canisters for better fluid control and temprature regulation.
Looking forward to getting these on, will be nice to have the car sitting as it should

Ahh, the parts pile just grows

Only figures im interested in are sexy long legged items with nice bums.
I dont care for figures... I'll stop when I feel its fast enough
Although the build spec has a lot of headroom, the turbocharger im using should see around 450-450

Once I have all the parts Dunc. I wont start anything untill im completely happy with my spec etc.
The build is the easy bit so I can do that anytime.
Still plenty of stuff left to buy yet!

Just a little update.
As you can probably guess, ive had a rather busy and stressfull last few months and kinda lost heart with the car. So much so that it hasnt been washed for 4 months and hasnt moved for 3 months. The battery is flat, and shes generally looking a bit sorry for herself.
I still havent even fitted my seat yet!!
Well, i really want to get it on the move again, so the battery has just been put on charge and im hoping to get her washed and back out on Thursday night for the HWH meet.
Im gonna try and get my seat rails fabricated up and save like hell to buy the last few engine parts i need.
My new front bumper needs painting and i need to buy my new twin plate clutch/flywheel.
Also on the parts to buy list is yet another fuel pump (as i dont trust the Warlbro at that level), ceramic coated tubular headers and a new different designed oil catch tank/separator.
Im gonna stick with the stock V7 AVCS heads for the time being as it should still see about 450/450 with these as they are.
Im hoping to spec some lairy heads later on in the year and fit them up at a later date.
So here we are, hoping to get this done for WRC 08... watch this space

Dunno about in time for spring, but deffo wanna get things moving.
Just time and money that slowed things down recently mate. Engine builds are big money, especially when i dont have a credit card to help me out lol.
