Go on then, ONE more time Yes Frayz the downward facing exhaust looks much better than I thought it was. It really does.

I wouldn't want it on my car though. I'm, quite happy with the noise and burble from my exhaust but with you it's another matter. You need it to be quieter so you can use the car on the track.

If I used my car on the track then I would agree that it's absoultely ideal, essexboy30 must be counting the pennies (lottery money )

Well done mate.

I was very impressed with how quiet it was. I'm not a great fan of the turn down look..... Maybe if it was highly polished i would think more of it...
I guess like many i kind of associate scoobies with large bling rear pipes!
Plus i must admit the lift of gatling gun that seems to be in mine does make me smile.....

i need to do something about the noise on mine, however i think the costs might exclude the simpson option..... but i might look at the revolution rear box... However at Donnigton they still said i was too noisey with the a bung up the back and blamed this on the induction kit!!!!
Although the dump valve now recirculates in a different place and i've noticed a slight diffenrence in noise.

There was a Revolution group buy back in May, nice system, made by Jetex.
Might be worth giving Colin a call?

That is a hell of a difference in volume! I assume that the money you paid and the quality of the system you haven't lost any power...

Good news though... now you can do the 'quiet circuits' like Goodwood .

Okay, just out of interest.

How many people that have said they like it would have it on their own car? lol

I like it but wouldn't have it myself, purely cos the chav in me likes the shiny loud tailpipe.

Saying that though if it were needed for a specific purpose then would go for something more discreet

I like the fact it looks different and serves a purpose, but wouldnt have it on mine, but thats only because i havent yet had to worry about noise or anything.... plus im not actually sure what designs of back box i do like..

It suits your car tho thats a cert.

Size matters, and so does the angle, looks a little droopy to me tee hee

More seriously though, each to their own, it suits your needs, purpose and you are happy

Hmmm.......still haven't seen it in the flesh. I'm not sure I would have it on my car as I like the Jap style exit of my Blitz.

Although I guess if I ever wanted to be a serious track day user it may be something I would have to consider if noise became an issue. Can't see that happening anytime soon though!

I have to admit, I saw an Audi A4 TDi with a twin exit (one each side) pipe with a similar design (albeit a smaller diameter) and it actually looked pretty good, never really took any notice before

oh yes! love the look of that. would suit my stripped out rally theme perfectly - if i ever get around to it. would cheer the missus up as well if it's quiet. plus if i was changing my exhaust i could go to a 3" system. already have 3" downpipe that's been bodged to a 2.5" centre so could do with changing at some point.

It is very reasonably priced.

Add up the materials, tools and man hours to make it.
