Well I use the NTL cable modem and telephone and used to use digital cable TV (now use Sky).
The cable modem is excellent and the phone is fine, but the TV was not up to it but liveable.
Basically, when they install, hope it works first time and that it never goes wrong, as their customer service is about as effective as a chocolate fireguard. If you ever do get through on the phone, be prepared to be punted around call centres from one witless chimp to another, with a very small percentage chance of getting someone intelligent (they do have some that are very helpful). I have to go now and have some tablets and sit down before i get a nosebleed

Chris: sorry you've had a bad experience there. As it happens, I'm awaiting a parcel from Dabs right now (just a mouse and a few blank CDs, thankfully) that Parcel Force seem to have lost, so we'll see how well they cope with that.
Courier firms, now there's crap service. How many people are really able or prepared to take whole days off work to wait at home for a delivery? If a supermarket can reliably deliver my groceries in a 2 hour (late evening) window specified in advance by me, why can't parcel companies manage the same thing?
Andy.
