To be fair the engineers had to factor in manufacturing costs and whilst a FMIC may have been desirable it wasn't a neccessity. Therefore on the STANDARD models the TMIC will work perfectly adequately.

Power wains on any car in a hot country, NA or with FMIC, but yes TMIC cars suffer worst.

Do all Impreza's have water spray.... mine doesn't. And why do people need to upgarde the intercooler, may have something to do with they have changed the turbo and other parts. Something Subaru do not have to take into account when designing their cars. So i say again in standard or PPP trim the standard intercooler does the job... not just about.

And the comment about heat soak and hot countries really made me laugth.... you really are a matermind
