Hello mate, this is what I have over my car: Security Flood 150W Black - Screwfix.com, Where The Trade Buys

I also have the 300W versions for the garden, rear and sides.

All are triggered by a stand-alone PIR: Stand Alone Pir - Screwfix.com, Where The Trade Buys

Bit cheaper than what you have, and far more adjustable.

thanks for that. i think im just gonna have to try source a decent infrared lamp to compliment the camera, other wise id have to rip both the current camera and lamp off the wall and try sell them.

maybe easier and cheaper for me to uninstall the lamp, take it back to B&Q explain its too bright, (have reciept) and pick up said infrared jobby somewhere with a decent range.
