Hi matey had a problem simular to yours, turned out to be my dump valve. Dont know if you have on fitted. If you do try taking off the pipe from the valve and put your finger over the pipe in the block. Worth a try. Oh it was jasemac at scoobybits that sorted mine i only watched.

He probably speaks highly of the place due to the good service they provide. I can't really comment much on this particular dispute as I don't know Chrispurvis.

That said though I bought my Scoob from Jase and since then have considered him a mate. Can't fault the place.

Not getting involved anymore. I've only said what 'actually' happened. I'm sure there are many happy customers, but be warned if something goes wrong and you think about complaining.

Ordered one from Grade A. £35 for the box and £5 for the pipe that fits pre-maf. And he knew about the differences between the UK/WRX and STI airbox's.
Let's hope it's the right one!

you know, i can see this from both sides, people tend to think that because they are dealing with a business they can be a bit more arsey then if they were dealing with a person IMO.

the problem with small business is that you are in fact just dealing with regular people when you complain.

i have had people complaining to me for allsorts, i am not superman, i`m just another normal person and there is only so much i can take, especially when 99% of them time the fault is on the customers side and not ours , most people who know me say i can take a lot more then the average person, but every now and again, i do lose my rag, and have told customers where to go in a much less professional manner then "we don't need customers like you"

now if you deal with a massive business you normally have some kind of "chain of command" so the problem can be "escalated" upwards which gives the customer the impression they are getting somewhere, which they like

but the lower staff are still spoken to like crap.

i can give you a few examples

bloke comes in, car baked in birds droppings and tree sap, no way on earth carwash will remove it, he pays for a cheap £2.20 wash and then kicks off when the car is still covered in crap

this bloke = he will get nowhere

next bloke = same story except the bloke asks nicley about the finish on the car, i would probably go out, explain that a better program gives more foam/soap and will help massively with the finish, if the bloke accepts this and does not turn into an arsehole i will also probably put him back in on a basic wash (to which i pay for myself)

next time he comes, he will go for the better program 9/10.

Again, I was as polite as could have been, given my 15 words! I have apologised if I did offend him and he still hasn't returned my call.
He also supplied the wrong part when I specifically asked for an 'sti 3 airbox'.
He has offered me a full refund which is what i'd expect anyway.
Just waiting for Jason to reply via pm to arrange collection, as I'm not wasting anymore money trying to sort this problem out.

Why didn't you blo%dy tell me that before I ordered one?
I bought the first one from someone off here not knowing the difference, so I assumed it would fit. Nope! That's why I specifically asked Jason for an Sti 3 box.
Nevermind, atleast he knows now.

Thankyou Jason. Just one thing, in your previous pm, you did state that the airbox you sent me 'was' for a uk turbo and wrx. The wrx and sti have the same maf, so the one you sent me was for a uk only.

*prepares to be shot.....

Prob the same reason you posted the same comments again and again, say it long enough and eventually you get the answer your looking for.

Sorry, had to be said.

All sounds a very strange story from me, multiple personalities, tourettes, or just a bad day and misinterpretations of each others comments.

Either way, glad to see its all sorted, and there is some love back in the Scooby community
