Hi every,

We always respond to quotation applications, usually by e-mail if referral to Underwriters is involved.

One issue that we have is Hotmail addresses, our generic templates are picked up by Junk filters. We have attempted to resolve this with Microsoft on several occasions but without success to date.

Basically, if you've used a hotmail address & havent heard from us - dont be shy in terms of contacting our office as your quotation will have definitely been processed & despatched.

Kind regards

Tony

As an aside Tony assuming you are talking about approaching Microsoft re: issues with hotmail the problem there will be with your ISP or on your own network with a tight anti spam filter in place. Hotmail isn't blocking itself from entering your network.

5t.

Hi Fivetide,

Many thanks for your input re Hotmail.

Due to the volume of generic e-mails sent using the same templates it seems as though they are picked up by spamfilters.

All other ISPs/e-mail providers receive e-mail without problem.

We logged onto Microsoft's help/advice and followed this, but this didnt help and after contacting them 3 times their suggestion was to pay a Microsoft consultant to assist with this - but this would only rectify up to 25% of our despatched e-mail traffic??

Our IT staff didnt feel this to be the way to go (& behind the scenes we have just installed a new operating system, a platform we are looking to build upon to include full cycle automation of transactions/cover wherever possible - thus we wouldnt have the e-mail issue).

Your advice is however appreciated.

Kind regards

Tony

So far I have requested 3 lengthy lists of parts and have been contacted back the same day with prices and availability.

I have only found that it is primarily the private owned Subaru dealerships (such as KT Green in Leeds) that are not willing to help out Imported car owners.
All dealers are Franchised and as such they are run bu IM. KT Green are down in the Subaru UK directory as a main dealer
