'Just phoned the organisers.

The grounds were inspected yesterday and are wet but still accessible and not as bad as expected.

The camping area is obviously wet but is ok at the moment. That is, of course, before there are vehicles and people travelling across it and turning it into mud. There is more rain forecast on Saturday too apparently.

I explained that camping for us isn't a necessity as we don't live all that far away but that we were going to go coz its quite a good laugh. Its just as easy to travel down Sunday morning. I've arranged to call again on Friday for an update then we can make a firm decision as to what we're doing.'

I am making a decision now not to camp, based purley on the weather, It stops my enjoyment of the day/night when Its cold and wet. I know we would make it something special but would rather it be something special and warm and dry

We will drive down sunday Morning

Sorry Sean and everyone else, WE have got a summer fun Camping trip somewhere in the wings, but we just need the sun,,

and trust me this will be fun boats, beer. its a knock out style shananigins, but thats a whole new topic

Yup. looks like heavy downpours both Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday. Weather warnings starting to appear, so I agree with the assessment to save ourselves for a proper camping doo..

We should also keep an eye out to whether it's actually worth turning up? That's if it still goes ahead......

Please keep an eyes out from Claire or someone else as to the state of play for this event...
