Happy birthday Bob Got a voice message, but it was all quiet
Only had time for a quick couple of races, but good fun. Especially amusing annoying the token American
I gave him a wide berth . . .
But he side swiped me . . .
Alls well that ends well . . .

Makes no odds to me, i'm crap in what ever car I use and still get overtaken by cars with much lower PI especially when that Squiirel bloke is behind me
In fact SM you were beating me last night when your car was pulling to the left and had a misfire and I was in a F430 and kept fish tailing all over the place onto the grass

That yank was creasing me up. Dunk was winding him up a treat and when a certain Squirrel must have hit the brakes by mistake followed by how he'd get the brakes checked first thing today I couldn't stop laughing

mate mine was a bit hit and miss and has been since day one. I ran the Xbox live test from the dash and my NAT came up as strict. I'm with BT using the home hub. A google and I found how to sort it so it's now open. sorted it all out. I'm sure this is your problem so if you let us know your setup then maybe we can help.
I've given everything a specific network address (PC/Laptop/360) linked to their MAC addresses and turned off DHCP so only those 3 devices can connect.
If there are specific ports I need to open let me know
Cheers
Matt

Matt, check the first page. few of the guys posted links for me. I didn't need them in the end but I'm sure with a tweak here and there you'll not have the problems you are. As I say run the Xbox Live test from the dash when you get chance and see what it says for NAT.
edit: useful site if you're not already aware.

to be honest the best thing i ever did was ditch the home hub and buy a cheap 4 port wired bt voyager router from ebay for £10
never ever had a problem since

I'm moving house next month (fingers crossed) so I'm going all wired rather than wireless.
Will have a read up and see if there's owt I can do in the mean time though

Cheers Dunk/Neanderthal.
As for connecting my Live test said my router weas currently at a moderate level for NAT, is this still too high for Live and whats giving me issues on connecting to Forza 2 games? All other Live games have been fine though

Forza is a peer to peer game, meaning everyone has to connect to everyone, most live games are server based where everyone just has to connect to a server. Not a great explanation I know but there you have it.

God what a nightmare I had last night! I seemed to end up in the middle of every accident going!
of course, none of them were my fault
Still, some great racing though, I only meant to hop on for 30 mins

Were the starting positions random? I was lucky to escape most of the incidents last night
Although perhaps my early braking into the first corner caused some of said incidents?! if so... opps

I seemed to be starting at the back most of the time. Managed to be accident free most of the time, apart from the RS4 race at Suzuka where I hit a bit of barrier that was sticking out and my car wouldn't move after that!

Grids were on random last night so it is your Donald Duck were you started from.
More of the same shenanigans later

Won't be online tonight. Wednesday night is next night for me. But I might do a bit more single player.
