think there might be some news on Maddie...

Just seen on the news pictures of the parents leaving the church, lots of people there as it's 100 days since she vanished.
The crowd lined the pavement and broke into applause - why? They looked more like bloody celebs than parents with a missing child

To be fair it's not the McCann's fault that they are finding sympathy from a bunch of morons that think that's what they should do when they see them.

A few interesting events:
1. Specially trained dogs indicated that a dead body 'may' have been kept/been present in the holiday apartment.
2. The McCanns are not suspects.
Very different meaning...
3. When a million isn't enough
4. Oh the irony
If she had of 'stayed with Maddie' in the first place.... etc,
5. And finally.........
Linky??
Now I hope she's found, either way.... but this IS starting to look a liitle bit strange?!?

They'd only "laugh" at you if it was your fault in the first place.
As for the Mr McCann Mr.Men book - I do think thats funny. I've got no sympathy for the "parents" (I use that word in the genetic term) at all - only Maddie.

Leslie has an easily rattled cage, my theory is just that, she keeps ranting on about how awful it all is and in no way can any possible finger of blame be pointed towards Daddy, Why not ?
Its been pointed at Robert Murat for 90+ days with no evidence what so ever, i gaurantee Leslie was calling him all the names under the sun when he first emerged as a suspect.
Now no evidance to link him to the ''Adbuction'' has been found everybody has forgotten about the poor sod who has had the whole world thinking he was King Perv and possibly a child abducter.
Can i possibly ask was Leslie there during the events, does she know categorically that Daddy had nothing to do with it, her constant defence of the parents makes me laugh.
Not nice at all, still the show keeps rolling for the parents ohh and the cash.
The Mr Man piccy made me howl too, beware though Leslie will have you in court for defirmation of character.

Because thats an excuse any "parent" should use when abandoning their Children just so they can go on the lash with their mates.
Well.. no different to me being asleep in the next room is it?
Actually, yes, its quite a bit different.
If your too lazy to ensure, as practically possible, proper supervision of your children at all times - then, quite frankly, you should be allowed to have children.

Not wanting to stirr up a wasps nest of comments, but i have to say that I am thinking the parents know more then that are saying.
I mean, leaving a toddler unattended is a really dumb thing to do, or is done with a motive.

First time comment on this thread for me.
As a parent of a toddler (and wife about to give birth this month) I was stunned that the parents left Maddie by herself. I can't actually comprehend how they could do that. It's different if they were down stairs having a meal and had a room monitoring service working (i.e. reception listen via the phone - do we know whether they had that on?). I've read a few people arguing that it wasn't too bad as they could still 'see' the appartment but what f*cking good would that do? It might tell you when the building was on fire but it doesn't do anything else. Disgraceful parenting.
Whilst the parents antics post Maddie disappearance has kept the case highlighted in the press, the manner in which they have done it and the pleas for more cash is wrong.

I see that the police have officially announced that the McCanns are not under suspicion!

And given that these are the same police that took 3 months to find blood in the apartment.. I really don't have any belief they actually know what they're doing - the cast of Police Academy have more credibility at this point.

All the children that vanish everyday in the UK and the rest of Europe dont get 0.0000000000001% of the attention this is getting, so really at the end of the day this is a bit pathetic and hypocritical!
Oh and lets not forget that none of the cops in the UK or elsewhere ever seem to find anyone!
Just a reminder, when you go to Eurodisney with your kids, they are more likely to get nabbed there than in any other location!

Not sure I see your logic.
They are so desperate for a baby that they try everything that can over five years including IVF...
...then have twins so decide to get rid of the first one?
Seems extremely unlikely to me!
Personally I find little or no empathy with Gerry McCann however his job does require him to manage his emotions very tightly even when very stressed so we are seeing him use his professional resources as a front.

What I meant was, if you can't be bothered to sort out babysitters, don't go out on the lash with your friends. If you want to go out on the lash with your friends without wanting to be arsed to arrange babysitters - you shouldn't have kids.
