Oh so now u the expert at owning "only" 2 imprezas? And u think that u can sit there and tell me that u have "sat" in an impreza before i said the word?

Light hearted posts my ****, i said it before and i say it again, take your bavarian crap and your views and post it on a m3 egomaniac board, where somebody might lap up your barrow boy, sheepskin coat wearing rantings.

ROFL, some1 actually offered £5000 more for your car than what you paid for it? Assuming that they didnt want to p/x a yellow sunshine bus and they were never an extra from one flew over the cuckoos nest, why would they want to offer you well above and beyond book price, i assume also that it wasnt a moustache wearing bloke in a leather pointed cap and faded denims, trying to pull u, im not taking bets to find out if he succeeded in his efforts

And, while im here, why didnt u take the money and purchase another one.

Birdy,

Just a shame that your M3 came below my 330D in the Car of the Year in Car magazine.

It's true that the M3 is far better than any Scoob, but then this is Scoobynet, so I guess that we expect the rabble to be pro-Subaru. It's just a shame that the people on here are blinkered to Subarus, and don't seem to think that anything else comes close. As you know, I've had a couple of Scoobs, and I loved them. Great performance and real world ability. However, crap build quality and poor residual value, coupled with dire thirst made me look elsewhere.

I think that if those dissenters amongst the Scooby crowd actually drove a new M3, they would have their eyes opened to a higher plane of driving experience and satisfaction.

I can honestly say that I've never been happier with a car than I am with my 330. Sure, the Scoobs were more thrilling to drive, but as an overall package, the BMW kicks as Subaru so far into the middle of next week it's silly.

Matt

Heh heh, LMAO!

Everybody chill - just get one of each

Don't take Mr. Bird too seriously though, I'm sure he's only on a wind up and not really the smug **** he seems ! It's winter - just wait while it snows and blast past him as he tries to get the BM up a hill (note to self - remember to fill boot with bags of spuds!).

Anyhoo, have a great Christmas - remember it's the season of goodwill to all men (even BM drivers)!

Cheers,

Deano

I love it.
Can we make 5 pages????
Is the BMW my dream car...........errrr no.
Even I`m not that sad.
But it fits the bill.
Chins you should have saved your wedge and bought the manual
In the main I reckon this post makes pretty good reading apart from a couple of replies that is.
If your asking me to compare the sheer driving abilities of say a P1 and an M3 they are very diferent.
Yes the P1 is a stunning drivers car and I would still say from point A to point B its gonna take some beating.
The Beemer is very fast and very discieving (cant spell).
I reckon you get there about as quick but then again I`m never gonna race any one to find out. I`ll leave that sort of behaviour to the likes of scoobynutta cos I`m sure hes much better at that sort of thing
At the end of the day this post was meant in a very tongue in cheek mannor and I`m sure most of you see it that way.
Just nice to see a decent........sorry ANOTHER.....decent write up on my costly piece of aluminium and steel and leather
PS I do actually like Subaru`s but just not £30K plus ones
