11.2 130 Terminal - was 3rd behind RCM and Andy F after first runs - then a few over took me - ended the day 6th overall - and in the pro class! That when I left so may have been bumped down a few? - but then the heavens opened asI was leaving so not sure where I finished.
Was my first event - so first time at lights i parked completely past them and every one laughed, as I was marsheled back!
I did 6 runs - getting better every time - 5th run fasted - 6th run gearbox blew ended day.(no 3rd-4th). Turbonators dont take prisoners!
Car had full road trim - spare wheel, qtr tank fuel - rear seats in place road tyres etc.
Barry was there in his Deer Stalker - anyone get any pics??

My "plan" was to win the 14.3 as my runs at the pod had been 14.5 & above but I buggered that on the first run with a 14.01
After that it was working out the best way to get my standard RA up the strip quickest. Before it started raining I managed a 13.58 so that is a second up on the Pod Averaging around 13.7 but I had some good starts in the rain that might have been interesting had it not been.
Will look at weight loss first and see what effect that has - need to get the best out of it before I start playing with the engine
Handling circuit I found that the car was a heck lot more capable than I was I obviously don't know it well enough yet It came with some sort of uprated front lsd that together with a track focused wheel alignment means that as long as the steering input is correct, then it doesn't understeer! Its firm and well damped too but they're not coilovers. All I've done so far is front lower brace and whiteline ARBs f/r. I've got 3 times but the last two (wet) seemed extremely quick and surefooted & faster. Lets hope Chris has got the times to post.
Great day, just a shame it was so wet. Waiting for burgers was a complete barsteward - I'm sure they did well but the queue time was disproportionate.

I was gonna try and race you Puff. Never got a chance whilst it was dry-ish. Then later on I had people drying out in my car so couldn't turf them back out in the rain.
I was going for the 13.3> class, first run 13.37 put me in third place(prize )
Then on my 4th run I did a 13.2 so that was fecked
Ended up with 12.78
Only did one lap, after sighting lap, on the handling, but the less said about that the better Although my exhaust spat the bung out when I launched(ish) on my sighting lap.
And of course I put it back in

Well done
Anyone else got any pics of the bright car on the left?
Great to see you Lesley, shame you were cold.
AND
I have to say that following your "recommendation" for Terry's Burger Bar, I queued for 45 minutes in the pouring rain just to sample! I'm sure the other sites were quicker

Shame that's from twenty past one though. Some were still racing much later than that. When I left a half three that one was still on the board.

We're back home in Belgium!!!
We had a blast, seen some beautiful and very fast Scooby's.
Fell in love back again with the 22B and P1 and cursed a bit further that we can't get those cars in RHD on the continent!
The weather was awfull , but nevertheless we'll be back next yea I think
I have +300 pics, I'll upload them this week and post the link back here!
Cheers
