have you adjusted the mix needle.......?

 

Im now on my 3rd one mate.. the last one has NEVER run....

 

Not since it was run in nope..

 

could be that mate...now thats its run in it will need tweeking

 

hope that's all it is. that's the trouble i found with petrol RCs, when they go wrong it can be a bu&&er to get them going again some times.

 

thats why i got a NITRO rc car....

forgot to grab some new ones when i popped down to heaths the other day. oh well, i'll just have to go tomorrow

 

Dazza and I also have a set of split crystals the same as fozzies.

So one way or another we should be okay.

 

so how do these split crystals work then? you can change the frq on the RX/Tx without swapping the crystals out?

No no mate..

frequencies come in numbers for example

band 1 may be 26.000
band 2 may be 26.100
band 3 may be 26.200 etc etc


Split crystals are frequencies that are unused in the middle so may be 26.025 or 26.050 etc etc.

So gives you more frequencies to choose from in the limited space of 27MHz

40MHz has alot more bands.. a possible 90 odd different frequencies to choose from as standard.
