Coming in 1 position from the top 3 with almost 200hp disadvantage is no shame Lee. Well done if you ask me. Looking forward to seeing that 2.35 setup!
Sounds like your having fun Toffee.
New engine will be good,
Good look.
Bez
It's the top of second gear so just under 60mph I guess. Big left-right flick and a dab of the brakes to get it going and then catch with some opposite lock and lots of throttle.
It's probably not great for the engine to be spinning so fast on the entry to these slides, but if I do it in 3rd the car doesn't seem to react as eagerly to throttle adjustments so it's not so easy to control the angle of the slide.

Ta mate I am assuming your the chap with the (Richard Henry) Hawk going to (drifting around ) Elvington, if so I will nip over next time and say hello
Lee.
Hi Lee,
Yes I was that man, had a great day,
I do like to have a drift about, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqRUSycV3Q4
Last car on vid about 2.5 mins in. Just short of 100 into last corner, Hence the drift.
If I had known you were at Elvington I would of call over for a chat.
Cheers Bez..A little has changed since that picture, ive added a green cold air intake into the drivers fog cover..will put new picture up when get some lol
:-) Nah, there's actually still quite a lot of room left before the grass run off so it's a good place to slide. I think it just looks like I overcooked it because it's off camera shot.

You slide looks big!
Yes, Big slide for me, love playing about, airfields are great for it.
Lookng at your Vid you were having a play on some of the other corner.
The 1st shot was at Donnington, Cold November morning, I Was doing this on many of the corners, the Track been so cold made it very easy to get the car drifting. No Handbrake at all. It was a great day out.
Yeah you are right. Need some decent wax on it....shall be getting some Swissvax best of show on there this weekend aheads of some meets next few weeks Did not enjoy driving the last one as much as this!
