I was at Carnetix/Tracktive on Saturday (21st Jun) for a 30k service. Excellent job as always and saved £70 on the normal price .

They are in the process of installing a wheel hub dyno at the moment. Don't know when it will be finished but Gavin mentioned a magazine shoot towards the end of this week with some Evo mag , so it needs to be sorted by then.

Ye, I am not fussed about people skills to be honest, as long as the car is achieving good results he can not speak to me if he likes! I just dont want it to come back and be underpowered for what it should be! Ie around 330bhp 330 torque

You can't knock his work but get your car on the rollers to see what the actual result is.

There are plenty of good mappers, my cars have been mapped by Richard, WRC Technologies and Bob Rawle. There are lots of others around too but you go with who you want to but out of those 3 then Bob wins hands down.
I prefer someone that can be bothered to talk about my car, possible future mods etc rather than someone that is up his own ***

i think rolling road is better so you get actual figures and printouts not estimates

do scoobyclinic not do it as well? or are they not very good?

I feel that road mapping is better but you do want to know what your car is producing so you should always get it on the rollers after or at least a delta dash curve to give you a rough figure

Just completed my latest mod. The fire extinguisher bracket which goes on the passenger seat mounts. Thay are doing these in the group buy section, but being Northern and tight I got my mate to knock me a bracket up at work. I'll get to the point now I asked him to make me one and basically he appeared at my house with four, so I've got three going begging if anyone wants one. They will definately fit new age cars not sure about classics, but I could check if a classic owner would let me know what the bolt centres are. They are made of stainless steel with a mat gray finish. PM me if you want one.

Send me all of the site info as well, I need this ASAP as I have only got a couple of weeks before I'm going away again and the next opportunity that I will have to spend any time on the site will be in September.
