I would be interested in a price for the 18" x 7.5" Rota P1's in Bronze (NOT Matt Finish Bronze) to fit a MY06 STi (Brembos & 114.3 PCD)... Wouldn't mind a price with Eagle F1 tyres and Toyo tyres to see the difference.

I was out all today, helping friends move. I will be on the phone to rarerims tomorrow, and I'll send them the latest list, so I should be able to get some idea of prices.

If anyone else has a contact at another good supplier, they're welcome to ask for prices for our group.

The tricky bit will be when a price for 10 of us comes back, a few people may say know, which could affect the price. At least there's a good few of us already, and all we can do is ask what's available. They are good wheels.

Yep, I bought 17" Gunmetal Rota Boosts from RareRims for my old MY99 PPP and the service, quality and price was spot on.. Top guys and because of that, I'm interested in buying from them again.

As aid above, I bought my wheels a couple of weeks back through ScoobyWorld, and their price was £55 cheaper than Scoobybits, + delivered within 2 days

I've spoken to RareRims and ScoobyWorld again. I'll let RareRims decide if they want to supply direct to us, or via ScoobyWorld. I probably won't get prices until tomorrow.

It's possible we'll get a better deal if the order is simpler (eg, if we all went for either Toyo or Goodyear), but I'll wait to hear from them.

Let's just see if it makes a difference first. I know some would rather pay extra for their particular choice (which is understandable), but as long as we know the options, and how it effects the group buy.

At the moment we're getting prices for a group buy of Rotas. If the offer's good enough, we won't be getting Inovits, but if not, we will start again, and possibly go for inovits - I know that some on the list will only be interested if it's Rotas, partly due to the problems with supplying the Inovits last time, but we could seek assurance that stock would be in place if we went that route.

I've heard from RareRims again today - they are unable to provide the level of choice that we've had in previous group buys, but they are wanting to try and match the levels of discount we've had in the past.

I'm also trying to get a couple of wheel choices that would most match our requirements - out of the 11 of us wanting 17 or 18" wheels, over half wanted Tarmac 2s, so I'm hoping we can have those (I'd be happy with them although my preference was SDRs).


Stiver3 - you're after 16" wheels - are they for an Impreza? If so, Grids won't fit a scoob. Have a look on RareRims for something else (you want a PCD of 5x100)
