Not sure what you mean mate. Surely the mapper's experience is paramount in the importance stakes; the software is only a tool, it's the expertise of the person using it that counts. That's not to say that the software isn't important; the mapper is constrained/empowered by it's capabilities!
The reputation of the mapper and their proven track record was the no. 1 factor is my decision about who to let map my car. Frankly, my mappers reputation was so good that if he'd have whipped out a BBC Micro with a copy of Pong to do the mapping I wouldn't have cared!

I think they are saying the same thing. The question I had was who was supposed to have the experience in this example ? The Ecutek mappers who have mapped hundreds of cars over many years, or someone else
