Looks like the intercooler takes it's inlet/outlet from the sides and has plastic end tanks. It also looks like the inlet plenum is plastic too. That will be good for tuning then.

Not pretty is it. The STi will have to be very diferent.

The number of people who want to buy a WRC 'look alike' 4-door saloon is actually pretty small and not enough for Subaru to live off. Companies like Mazda, GM, Toyota are all doing well with 5-door hatches and this design looks like an amalgam of those cars. It has all the typical styling cues of a modern family hatch - because Subaru want their slice of that market.

Cars like the Skoda Fabia and Octavia are not pretty, but their 'performance' versions outsell Subaru many times over.

Personally I don't like the look of the car, but I can see the commercial reasons for its design - uniqueness is not good for business.

MICROSTAR sorry mate commercial decision or not without WRC heritage/success Subaru would still be making crappy pick up trucks for gamekeepers !! Whatever commercial sucess they do or do not have is based on there rally heritage so why do they feel the need to bite the hand that feeds them by trying to flog us this TURD.

P.S i would like to know where you get your figures showing that the performance model octavia outsells the impreza !!
