I drove the old RS6 to leipzig, and seriously wshed I'd removed the limiter in advance. I swear that car was good for an indicated 200mph.

How long do you plan on keeping it for?.....is it a long term acquisition?

My last car did about 12k miles in over 3.5 years. Works out quite well as I can buy a somewhat higher mileage cheaper car and when it comes to selling it still has less than average mileage for the year. My last car was 18 months old with 28k miles on it and when I sold it at age 5.5 years it had 40k on it.
Not sure how long I'll keep this. Its a fab car but more 'focused' than my AMG. Also the cost is always at the back of my mind. If other expenses increase or wifey decides not to go back to work then it'll have to go.

Not a second car at all. My journey to main place of work is 5 miles each way. Add another 5 each way for my secondary places of work a couple of days a week. At the weekends as I have a small baby I tend to go where I know I will find willing babysitters ie in laws approx 15 miles away and sisters about 15 miles away.
