we're really looking forward to it now!! Can't wait to see the pyramids etc..

 

They're fantastic, I stayed at the Mena House hotel while working in Cairo and woke up to them every morning

Visit the museum if you have time, its excellent and DON'T forget that you can buy cheap gold, you only pay for the weight of gold rather than the style

DCI - Has a flashback to his less than savory time as a camel herder

 

will try and get as much in as we can!! Fancy scuba diving too!!

 

You willhave a great time , it's one of the best places I have been too apart Zanzibar, try and do as much as you can

 

we plan too, not far off now!! thinking of doing both cairo and luxor..

 

We stayed further up the coast in Taba 3 years ago, which was fantastic, we found the trip to Petra in Jordan better than the pyramids, but I am glad that we did the whole Cairo thing as well.

 

ooooo I would love to go to Petra , we're going to Sharm in Nov , might be able to do it then
