What plug end is on the 14m extension cable????

Same as you need to put on the PC, so a cheap rubber extension lead plug from B&Q should do, and then your only buggering about with the extention lead and not the PC itself.

Hi guys,

Easy Pippyrips, just cut off the 2 pin US plug from the PC. Strip the wire down, inside there'll be 2 wires, black and white. The black is positive and the white neutral. Open up the spare 110v plug shipped with the PC. There'll be 3 places where you can put the wires. You don't use the earth pin (the big one). Black wire goes to P+ and the white to 500v~ sign. Easy!

Nick.

Nick,

just about to sort it. I don't have a P+ pin but do have a L/+ pin - is this what you mean?

Yes, sorry, that's what I mean! There are three pins, two small and 1 large. The large is the earth, don't use that. So the black goes to the L/+, the white to the 500v~.

I've only done the bonnet on my GFs beater so far. I used PoorBoys SSR2.5 swirl remover. The difference between the bonnet and the wings is astounding. Reflections on the bonnet are crystal clear whilst the same reflection on the wings is blurred. Well worth the money! If the weather holds out today I might go back out and practise on her beater. I'm practising on hers before I go near my S2000!!!

Have fun, you'll soon get the hang of it, although take regular breaks unless your hands will start hurting from the vibration! Get some pics up of before and after!!!

Not quite! You need a 2 pin US plug to a 3 pin 110v plug.

You don't actually need it.

Ooops! I thought 1 end was the site end and the other looks as though it's a 3 pin normal UK connection?
