Think there was a guy on Scoobycity asking if the family could come and was pointed in your direction.

If you don't mind me saying, might be worth letting people know what the score is with ID; I've obviously got my Brit Army ID so I don't expect any issues but some of the others might be surprised with ID requirements.

well i am going for "quality not quantity" i may well be responsable for all the people going on base.... so i dont want *** holes on there, thats why i posted in ESC and not general.... there are a lot of idiots on this board if you know what i mean.

Oh for those that have never been on a US base, if you have any US dollars lying around at home take them - the American bases use their odd colonial money because they're stubbon like that

If you don't have any though, most places on base tend to exchange sterling at a pretty good rate.

How about the big lay-by on the Lakenheath/Brandon Road just off the roundabout? Probably less likely to get in the way there?
