Im totally with you Fudpucker. I was reading the "Complete N0B in Sheffield" thread in "Was it you" and people are commenting that SN is now known for so called car lovers slagging each other off. People have given their thoughts on whether it was or wasn't a good thing to do. The reality of it is that he did it, put a thread on and got a lot of people talking. Now it is turning into argument which is not what these forums are for. Lets all be at piece and remember the one main reason why we are on SN - Scoobies!

agree completely (well apart from the stickers bit )

It's a while since i've been called young But thanks all the same.

Davyboy ........ better looking? Rodney you been smoking those funny **** again?

The true test would be to take the original post, cut it out, take it round your place of work or somewhere where normal humans frequent. See their reaction. Then take it to maccy dee's carpark and see the reaction there. I wonder what the outcome would be?

You have to just love these threads .......

This is 2007 mate! If you wrote this 7 years ago I would have agreed.

Serious piece of advice here my friend - Go away and never post on this forum again, as NOBODY will ever take anything you say seriously any more!
Drifting in Walthamstow is one thing, and at first there was pretty well a 50/50 split in opinion, but it's your unfortunate and immature attitude that has finally laid any credibility you may have had, to rest.

P of T, I'm 24 and have an MY06 Spec C. I'm no pensioner by any means but still wouldn't drive it like a tw@t or attempt to get the back end out. Cars of this nature demand respect because of their sheer ability and performance.

If I were standing on a pavement and heard a load of tyre screeching, turned to look and saw someone doing what you did I would instantly think 'dick'. Showing off to yourself or others around you. Maybe you didn't have many friends as a child and are now desperately seeking attention by acting like this and posting up to brag about it.

Davyboy was right, that statement is 7 years old! I really hate to say this but Scoobies HAVE made the move and have reached the status quoted! As proved by the originator of this thread, unfortunately!

Well bubba, for a guy that has over 50000 posts on this site and with some people obviously looking up to you, am surprised that you have to resort to personal **** taking.

But then again maybe the reason that you have so many posts on here and have to resort to personal **** taking is because you don't have a f**king life out with SN.

Am sorry to say but this thread has made me see just how pathetic some people are on here, we all have the common interest in Subarus weather it be owners or just people having a like for them, but the way some people carry on on here is unbelievable.

I remember being about 15 yrs old at the local chippy and seeing a Rocker in 3.0 injection capri with flames up the side doing a huge burnout when pulling off and thinking thats f**king awesome!.... then about 3 years later there I was in my poor mans 1.6L capri doing similar to the admiration of others teenagers.

Its the way of life and will always be.... we were all young once .... werent we?

Obviously I have storys of several write off's that taint this story somewhat, but better to have lived and learnt than never lived at all

lol, they demand respect so that means that you drive em like a hearse...i buy my toys to have fun in them...i also own a bmw X5 diesel and a merc e class diesel but you wouldnt see me ripping up and down a road in them...but when i do take my scooby or any other perfomance car i do make the most of it and come back smiling...if you dont do the same, then im sorry to say but your car needs a better owner

this debate has prolonged itself, and i understand that many people have different ideas and many are right and many are wrong...im just expressing my opinion on the reason you would buy a rally homologated car is to have fun...fun being defined by the driver not the spectator

P of T you are starting to show yourself as an arrogant, obnoxiouse idiot, more so now than in your thread starting post.

Regardless of what people may think or say, whilst you think you know,or even plan, whats going to happen, you dont know till you get to that point of no return.
You may think yourself a good driver,as many people think themselves, but its that point of no return that proves that you're not, the point of crashing or taking someone out.

Save it for the track buddy it will save you pain on here and out on the road.

same old good man ! stupid ***** retorts !
have a sense of humour and remember it didnt end in armagedon !!
i once got flamed for doing 160mph (very near)in moderate traffic on a bypass in east kilbride by certain plebs on the skyline forum for doing it on a thursday afternoon at 4pm on an off camber bend ! ( allegedley ! so lets just give the boy a clap for not putting it into a wall like most owners do who think they are bullet proff with 300bhp and 4wd ! this is a community forum not a firing squad ! the justice system covers that !
waits for the people who have claimed to have never broken the speed limit or driven irresponsibly !! (of which there are none !!)

When did I say I drive mine like a hearse??

I drive mine sensibly when needed and when conditions permit I'll drive it like it was designed to be driven.

And as for having fun, fun and more fun how are going to explain that to the plod that pulls you over for dangerous driving or to the owner of a car that you just pranged when trying to make yourself 'feel like a don'.

ANY FOOL can put their foot down, it's not hard. The difference between me and you is that I know when and where to do it and won't be coming onto a public forum to brag about it.

Thats where your going wrong ,dont try to correct it,as you usually over correct.Just let the steering wheel go and it will sort itself out ,believe it or not,Its a 4WD phenomenon ,i was shown this by a very talented driver and about sh*t myself when he done this as the car was doing about 70mph sideways at the time (on a private track i hasten to add).

I have read this thread and to be honest, in a weeks time there will be another one like it, and so on...

If you choose to drive like that on a public road or anywhere else for that matter, remember that it only takes a split second for it to go wrong.

You dont have to be going at high speeds to kill yourself or worse, kill someone else.

So do us all a favour, if you do choose to put your foot down and learn the limits of your car, do so on your own, and with no one else with or near you.

To kill yourself would be a shame, to take someone with you would be even worse.

Please could the holier than thou ex-imprezza owning track warrior (you know who you are) be very careful in taking the moral high ground here. Remember that some of us are your neighbours and have seen you also driving like a loon on a public road on more than one occasion.

Have an opinion but remember that people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones (and the road to the station is not a race track!!)

I, on the other hand am a paragon of virtue and you would NEVER catch me doing something like that (or should that just read "never catch me")

(i must admit that i'm getting paraniod about just plain old overtaking these days especially as the car is so distinctive and the reg is very easily remembered - i think when the real sun comes out it's back the the anonimity of the bike for my psychotic driving moments)

PMSL that's a funny post........

Are you the Bald bloke who was sat behind me at the junction the other day by the way? If so can you turn your exhaust down a bit in the future, I could hardly hear my wireless

Oh and watch out for PC Kitson, he doesnt like illegally spaced plates on Jap clutter

Probably yes, the description fits anyway (hair by Wilkinson Sword)

Exhaust is fully legal and only 85db (yes really)

Who the hell is PC Kitson? Number plate spacing is also fully legal (regulation 14a is a wonderful thing, the letters are even the correct font and correct size).

- Ok, reality check, the letter spacing is probably a mm or 2 out but hey bull**** baffles brains. When reg 14a comes up in the conversation i hope to cause enough confusion to make my getaway unscathed !!
