UK94....
Averaging 18MPG on a good day. Never (well not often) redlined to work. Do 250 ~ 300 miles per week commuting around South Manchester area on the M56.
Always "queued" to work, and back home. Only really "driven" at weekends.
Best (EVER) 25 MPG...
worst 6MPG around 3 sisters circuit.
I try not to think about the fuel used too much
Mark.
SUL addict.

How many miles do WRX/STI owners get to £10 of super? I get an average of 50, thats town, motorway, cruising, flat out..a mixture of everything although i tend to drive the car quick to very hard most of the time.

Stef, SUL is bloody hard to get around here Essex (any one know different?) and the car has always run on 95 RON unleaded since imported and never missed a beat, and to be honest 95% of my driving it never gets above 4000rpm so I don't see the need for the extra cost with out the ability to use the extra power.

Hi,
I get average of 30mpg over a month. Never less than 28mpg. I sure don't drive gentle, but I don't cane it all the time either This is a mix of m/way and b roads. Just put my foot down to overtake, that sort of thing.
I don't know how you boys get so little..

Have you not got the difference the wrong way round
Sterling is strong at the moment (compared to the Euro to which IRL is linked) therefore Stg£1.00 should buy IR£1.++ There are 4 petrol stations in Muff (Eire) on the N.Irish border - surely not all gone in the past few months? All the ones in the North had shut down...
May be wrong but...

I managed 33mpg with my MY00 Turbo during the fuel crisis - is that a record?
Sadly I've never managed that again - usually about 24mpg - but I'll happily demonstrate if someone wants to buy me a track day to make up for it

Tizard, if you live anywhere near brentwood there's an esso/tesco express garage on the A1023 who do SUL. And I *think* there's a Shell on the A12 brentwood junction as well which do it.
Yeh, on the subject of mpg, I have a MY93 WRX and can get 27mpg doing a constantly boring and sleep/crash inducing 70mph. I normally get 24-25 by cruising 70-100 with regular ish bursts of hard 5th gear devestating pulling power
Just been to the lake district and got 20mpg 5-up with full boot and slow 2nd/3rd gear hilly driving...admittedly not much turbo usage though and it was still this low!

My MY95 JDM WRX did 34MPG on a 300mile trip from Portsmouth to York with a stop at Coventry.
It was 2 up and 65ish all the way with very light throttle.
When driving normally around 25MPG, when driving "spirited" around 18-21 MPG.

Who dug this one up?
330 from a tank is the best I've managed - stuck on a motorway for most of the day doing sensible speeds.
