Don't live there, but hasn't it got one of the 'worst places to live in Britain' tags - due to the huuuge unemployment due to the the decline of the Pottery industry - pretty much every factory in the place shut down over about 20 years, thus entire working population lost their jobs.....?

That's why the housing is cheap - no ****** has any money.....or a job.....

The Mrs likes the shopping centre there, and thats about it. Dont live too far from Stoke, like a blast down the A500 you can do a steady 60 all the way ;-)

stoke is nasty.

Newcastle under lyme is much nicer.

I have lived in a few places and i think Sunderland is the biggest hole......full of maccums aswell.
