Booking hotel tomorrow and sending application off.
I'm off this Sunday (1st April) if thats any good for The Lodge meet?

I take it we'll make decisions about shirts etc when we meet up at the lodge. Would also be cool to have the vinyls done for the cars. Don't have too many stickers on the car so i have plenty of room.

We are having lunch @ mid day on the 1st with some friends at The Plough. It's a Brewer's Fayre with a large riverside beer garden in Fen Ditton just outside Cambridge. (Where the Cambridge guys have/had their meets).



So we can't make it this Sunday. Unless you all fancy a drive out to Cambridge. We are free after that any Sunday except the 8th when we are over your way.

Stickers & Shirts Not a problem getting these sorted in time

I Will try & sort both , Yep RB5 Mark will be able to sort Stickers for us , Shirts all i really will need from you is to choose a size that you will need

Wife - 10 with Mrs TISSY (original i know !!) please.

Would be cool if i could get this as the sticker, gives it the authentic look and a good bit of advertising before the event (obvioulsy not Monte Carlo though unless we get really lost)

 

This is the pack you get when your application is processed which includes a thick plastic plaque.



I did suggest a sticker of this plaque a while back in post 154.

Fozzie suggested mounting the supplied plaque on the front bumper with a bracket of some sort. This is fine but is everyone going to be able to knock something up the same? I have some ally sheet I was going to have a play around with, but a sticker would be s-o-o-o much easier.

My pack should be arriving next week, so i guess each 'plaque' has a unique number on it ?

Therefore i'm guessing the plaque supplied can be displayed in the rear window for example with double sided tape etc (for official purposes), then we can have our own ones elsewhere on the cars, with the same number on it but perhaps withoout all the sponor logos to make it easier to make ?

Would definately look cool if we were all the same. Tiny......time to make room for some more stickers

MENCAP Classic Motor Tour 2007 Information

Third paragraph.

"Entrants will be provided with a commemorative identification plate, which must be displayed to the front of the vehicle facing forward."

Each car has a unique number so the check points can identify you when they log you in, so needs to be at the front I guess.
