Text is a bit long IMHO What about our user name instead as it's shorter???
Colour of T Shirts .. ??
The Mencap logo is yellow. It looked good on black last time but another dark colour would do.
It mustn't show the spilt jam & cream.

Rally Plaque thoughts .. ??
The one that comes with the pack is a bit hard to mount anywhere other than resting on the dash in the window next to the tax disc.Trying to mount it on bodywork is hard as we all have different grills, splitters etc. also it is quite hard & scratchy.
Can we get a copy done in sticker form that we can mount on the bonnet or on the boot or both (those that have room that is)? And can we all mount them in the same place, once we have decided where, for "togetherness"

Dark T-Shirt would be good, either Black or dark blue maybe?
Rally plaque. I was going to see if I could make something that would mount next to the front numberplate on mine and utilise the mounting screws to hold it in position.
Was going to wait till my plaque arrived to see what I could do with it, don't really fancy putting stickers on the bonnet if I can help it.

I could fasten it to my lower mesh but that would block some of the radiator off. I could clip it to the back of the passenger sun visor & just leave it down, sunny or not.
I may try & make up a side mount ally plate that bolts to the number plate mounting holes. My front plate is velcroed on for ease of change at shows so we'll see.

Looks like we might have to cancel.
Can't get cover at work for the Friday.
Won't cancel just yet, but it isn't looking good. It's a long way to drive down Friday night, but it might be an option I suppose.

Always room for another.
Have you got the application form? There is a downloadable one here.

Will you want a room at the Halfway House for the Friday/Saturday nights?
After much pounding the streets looking for a stable for the weekend this is what I have found.
Please bear in mind this is a Bank Holiday weekend & there is a large show on in the area so rooms will be going fast.
Halfway House Inn Country Lodge
Ilchester Road (A37),
Chilthorne Domer,
Yeovil,
Somerset BA22 8RE
Tel: 01935 840350
Halfway House Inn Country Lodge CLICK HERE
The hotel is 3 miles from the college (10 mins) & has a car park round the back with CCTV. Coming back late on the Saturday night is not a problem & we can look into getting a minibus to ferry us to & from the college bar.
There are 2 Shell garages (V-Power) within 5 miles.
The Deal
1. £67.50 PER ROOM PER NIGHT (Continental or cooked breakfast included)
2. I have provisionally asked for 5-8 rooms to be held for the 2 nights. (Friday & Saturday)
3. Table/tables for a Friday night evening meal should preferably be booked.
4. Deposit £50 PER ROOM Tel: 01935 840350 ask for Mike or Anna.

Cheers Mark,
I did ring the hotel and they have got a room free. So next step is to book the 3 days off from work, book baby sitters for the weekend and all being well, we will be able to come.
Keep you posted.
Has a date been arranged for The Lodge meet as there are only certain Sundays i could make it due to shift patterns etc.
Many thanks.

This meet / Weekend IMHO Is the best of the year by a country mile & we have attended a few
Re the Meet @ The Lodge to finalise our plans , Let me know what date you can make & we shall try & arrange it around you
So pleased hopefully that you are joining us , You may have to turn a blind eye to some of the driving whilst on the rally though

!!Just finalising a few bits (work and family logistics) so i should be able to confirm 100% in a day or so.
My only scheduled Sundays off at the moment are 29th April & 13th May, these may be a bit close though. So don't arrange to specifically suit me, go with the majority. If i am around on one of the other dates i will try and make it if i can.
Steve
