I would not say I've got a low post count, but I do have a slightly early join date. Doesn't seem like nearly 8 years.

Hi Phil, yes it does sem like a lifetime ago!

Been here since Nov/Dec '99 when i got my MY99 UK Turbo scoob.

Joined the SIDC once in 2000, never renewed my membership.

Plan to get another scoob this year, maybe next.
Not sure what to get, low miles P1 or similar or a new STI or what really. Budget will be a BIG factor when we buy, Jenny keps pushing me to get another one and i wil not take too much persuading, bang for your buck i still recon the scoob takes some beating.

Only problem is that i am now in my 40's and may look like an old saddo reliving my youth which may be the case, or, going through the male menoporsche, this may also be the caseras i do have a hankering for a bike as well but not bought a Rolex and a Nikon SLR yet

IIRC I've been around for about 6 now. Scoobynet was partly responsible for me buying the Scoob which I've now had for 5 and a half years.

I'm still here on a daily basis, but agree with Alas on the tone of the site now. I tried PistonHeads, but I still come back to here. It's a bit like having a comfy pair of shoes
