Huff... dont react...

It amases me that a guy logs onto our 'International Community' forum only to be greeted with a load of jealous/stuck up/generally unhelpful responses. No wonder most of you have post counts of 3k+ if your just contributing worthless crap like demonstrated in this guys threads.

Tuck your attitudes away, all the guy asked for was some advice to start with... not your warped opinion on his age and the car he should own. If everyone followed the 'should be' route in life then cars probably wouldnt have even been invented.

Congrats on your car mate, wish i had one when i was 16.. and i hope you enjoy it. For the re-map side of things might be worth talking to some of the guys at the following link who generally seem to be american tuners: EcuTek Forums

With LOTS of help from the second best army of the time, the so-called cheese eating surrender monkeys. Yes, let's not leave out the best bits.

Kind regards, Alcazar

"Warped opinion on his age and the car he should own"??

Take it from one who's been there, or very close, a young kid in an accident is something most fathers would go a long way to spare others. If that's warped, then I hold my hands up to it.

Regards, Alcazar

I agree with Alccazar, how is it a warped opinion? Its common sense. Theres no wy on earth a responsable parent would put there first time driver child into a 175 bhp car. Because lets face it with a few exceptions 16 year old boys a testosaron filled idiots (including yself at that age) And Huff its not a personal attack on ur self. I dont understnd how other posters can sit there and defend the fact a kid with that sort of car is ok.

Thing is,it's a different culture and attitudes in the US.

Alot of people have cars which you would think is mad for there first in the US.

Just the way it is.

Alcazar.. im not judging you, i think it wastes time.

All im trying to say is that when this particular 16yr old made his first post he just wanted a re-map... he was met with some helpful comments and a whole lot of the 'Scoobynet e-thugs' attitude which his post didnt really justify.

Having been on the receiving end of a recent post that had the same attraction to the morons of scoobynet i just felt the need to defend this guy... because at the end of the day we dont know who he is, and he just wanted advice on re-mapping.

I understand your comment quoted above, and feel for the fathers of 16yr olds that cant manage a high powered car... and completely agree that a large portion of them shouldnt have access to these cars. What i do feel is that age shouldnt be the judgement on this though, because im sure their are a whole load of 16yr old kids out there that could make us look like we are still on our training wheels in our own cars given the chance.

What their should be is a high performance test, because i also feel their are a whole bunch of 25+ that shouldnt have the high powered cars they own because they are also not responsible enough.
