So can you fit this without a remap on a newage or not?

The ECUtek link makes it sound like you wont be able too.... well, safely anyways.

from what im led to believe one of the most important things is the position of the maf sensor, this kit retains the stock position in the pipeeork, which is a good thing.

For full benefit and safety a remap would not be a bad idea.

As always its up to you, some (including myself) have been running an induction kit for years without issue.

The Maf is also a lot stonger on the newage than some of the classics, which is where a lot of problems have arrisen

Will find out for you mate.

Just spoke to another tuning company today, they said the typhoon does not interfere with the maf reading, so a remap is not vital

Buy 'em, you'd better bloody buy 'em. These are not stolen, they just haven't been paid for. And you can't get them again - they've changed the bloody locks!!
