Un-f*cking-believable! That dumbed-down website doesnt make it correct though. British Police officers still dont have badges.....
Similarly, if ignorant people continue to incorrectly say 'should of' & 'your right' (instead of should have / should've and you're right) then they will eventually replace the correct grammar in common language...

Anyway I hope no one in the affected area has their car stolen, to commit crime or for any other reason (as it seems from the title, or TITLE !!!!!!, that stealing the car in the first place isn't commiting a crime ?!)

So why not pass on what you know to Crimestoppers or the Police? That way the thread author will have some idea who these thieves are and where/ when to find them.

I dialled 999 and spent over 15 minutes trying to tell the operator I didn't want to give my name,I realised they wouldn't send anyone unless I told them so I did. Was another 20 minutes till a police car arrived,they weren't interested and did nothing !
All they said to me was let us know if he does it again !

Yer maybe the comments were harsh peter but as owners i think we realise this happens pretty much everywhere all the time-youve only gotta read the amount of stolen threads on here mate to realise that, thanks for the info but its no shock to anyone really.

Well always grateful of information,from anyone.
I did have this big *** black **** ***** about on the roads with me yesterday, wahay.........., followed me etc, one of them lot that says,oi, mate, u look cool, want a gold chain cheap.

The new police Evo 9 got written off while chasing one of the stolen scoobys a couple of weeks ago !
My mates scooby got pinched,2 cat 1 alarms and a steering lock and the police told him to get better security !!

At one stage they were warning people with japanese performance cars only to go out in them if it was essential

Have to be more aware now then than usual as its close to home now,then again,gloucester isnt that big so wil prob bump into them LOL........

Thanks for your support,after the slating iv'e had. Think the problem is more to do with my job than the info. It's fine, I'm used to it.
Tried to have abit of light hearted banter with the first few slaggings, but they seem to have a sense of humour failure.
I was going to pull the plug on the thread by editing out the info, but that would be showing that i could be beat by a few sour faced people. So i will continue to post anything that i think may help, just won't enter into conversation about it, but then again it was fun!

That someone posts what could be seen as good info to some people in the area and he gets loads of stick twinned together with a 'hows your integrity' fooking attitude just cause of the job he does. I would luv to c your face if ye got up in the morn and found the motor gone wonder if ye would have the guts to say 'nicked from drive/garage/road' after flaming him?

Come on, the bloke comes on here and posts some random sh*t about Scoobs being nicked by criminals for use in crimes. No **** Sherlock, they make a good getaway car. Happens everywhere, not just Gloucestershire.
Then claims to be a pig! And a stropy, thick one at that. Wouldn't like to be in any sort of difficult situation with him. Fairly indicative of the state or our police force these days and the type of *****rs that become filth. Not very professional at all.
Should be out catching the real criminals not warning us about them on SNet or just harassing innocent motorists. Tosser.
