Muslim bashing will go on no matter what the current reason is.. the world needs something new to hate so its Muslims for now.
I don't like how people group all muslims with being asian.. yes a large number are asian however labelling an entire group based on your perception of a small minority is wrong.
We could easily argue:
All british people are drunks becuase all they do is get drunk at football games and then get banned from those countries.
We all know its a small minority of hooligans but this doesn't stop those frog eating folks from thinking we are all a bunch of phish heads
We had a diverse community, ever since the goverment relaxed their immigration laws we have had a flood of very angry middle-east religious folk enter the mosques around the UK and spread their infectious ideoligy. Thats the heart of the problem, but a large population of the elder muslim generation are generally uneducated or will to accept change.
Due to their stupidity they allow these so called peers through their doors and allow these people to preach their venom. Unfrotunately its not just a problem due to middle-east people preaching in UK mosques. As that article pointed out, there are certain groups (usually from Asian Pakistani backgrounds) who are in the UK trying to promote their twisted ideas. All this creates confusion for the younger generation who are brought up in the UK, combine this with a densely populated asian area (of which there are many in the UK) and you have a melting pot for trouble.
To add fuel to the fire you have a goverment that says one thing and does the other. When this occurs on a dialy basis it creates a hostile atmosphere, asian communities become even more segregated and tend to close off to any outsiders (also an issue in Hindu and Sikh communities). This all fuels anger in the young muslim minds.. eventually some crack head preacher latches onto this fact and starts to promote his twisted ideas into that person - 'rinse and repeat' a thousand times.
I know many muslims who are not your typical black/brown stereo type, quite the opposite, White middle-class people who have 'reverted' to the religion of Islam.
End of the day I think we all need a little bit of patience with each other but you can't help but feel its all a bit... well bollox really

You'll excuse me if I don't take your word that the foundations of a mosque in Redditch consists of pigs heads. Christ even typing it back is like something out of Brass Eye, it so ridiculous.
Of course, pubs in certain areas that are full of racists, certainly there a one or two areas up where my kids live, but then there are a more than a few areas that have moved on.

Still, if you would like to point me to any part of the Labour Party manisfesto that show racisism even a tenth of that shown on the BNP site, I'll be happy to take a read.
I'm no fan of Labour, I won't be voting for them in the next election - But given an ultimatum, I would vote for them for the rest of my life rather than cast one vote for the BNP.

I've thought about this today and as the day has gone on the more I have become opposed to this ridiculous monstrosity that they are proposing to build.
This is the last thing that this country needs on so many levels. And I would say the same thing if it were a 70,000 seat church or synagogue.
Islam has effectively won over a secular state. In 20 years time this area will be a complete Muslim enclave, no doubt about it. What other person is going to want property in this area, as well as the Muslims coming from all over to live there. It will not surprise me at all if this becomes the first area where Sharia law is introduced to the UK. It will become a city within a city where non-Muslims will not dare to go.
From advancing this country from being controlled by the church and the heavy influence of religion to the modern Britain that is driven by science and reasoning we are essentially allowing the regression back to the dark ages by allowing the construction of this "brainwashing" centre.
No good will ever come of this whatsoever.

The really funny part is that Places like Iran have large Christian populations and heavily advertise one of the oldest christian churches in the world as part of their tourist literature but the great mates of the UK and US Saudi Arabia has made bibles illegal. So why is the most corrupt evil state in the middle east, the one which supplied the 9/11 bombers Saudi Arabia; the state with strongest links and diplomatic ties to the US after Israel ?

With all the terrorist activity going on in the country just now,i think its a good time to ressurect this thread. I would object to public money being spent on religious purposes whichever club it was for, its all bollocks, I appreciate churches do some good community work but cant that be done without dressing it up as religion.

Yes that would be good, a 60% tax on all private funding to build new religous facilities. The exception only will be to restore current facilities, but not to extend them.
That would shut them up
