Cos the Scoobs would trounce the Lotuses (Loti?) - The CIN scoobs did

We (Lotus people) had enough trouble getting past the utterly blind and spin-happy MX5 drivers..

Large speed differences make for dangerous driving IMO, as one minute you've got an empty road behind you, next minute you've got an Evo up yer chuff.

However the non Scoob groups had serious gaps in performance MX5's - 500hp Cossie, 420 Hp Westie, Skylines etc.

Yep - I think the race prepared vehicles and the superlights with 400BHP should have been in a group of their own (or at least grouped with perhaps 22Bs + Skylines)

 

Hey Simon,where did you get the lip for the front bumper on your terzo?

 

I wouldn't have thought that the perfomance gap between the Skylines Porsches and TVRS would have been a prob for Scoobs to join in the fun

After all it wasn't a SIDC event.

It was pre arranged thats bobbins.

As you have said its good to go on SIDC events but its also good when not on SIDC events to pit your car against others. It was my only downside of the day.
