You can please most of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time.

I have had a very good and very bad PS experience. Good stuff - RR, geometry, fault fixing etc and Remaps

Bad Stuff - Seeing some fantastic cars that are way beyond my current "jolly fund"

And everyone one as it's critics

Iain,

Cheers for the Brochures (prompt reply) but funds for a new one are sparse so I may well look at the 2003/4 Leggies instead.

Very surprised how PS have dealt with this one, they made the mistake, Luke is only looking for the labour back from the exhaust fit. After all they over charged him by a factor of 3 for it.

I for one wont be using PS again. Especially now I realise how much they charge.

The fact that PS havent come back to this post says it all.

And yes Iain I also thought you have shares in PS, bet you dont pay £176 for an exhaust to be fitted !!

Blue Dragon,

Feel free to call us about the Legacys and your welcome to pop over to view.

Apologies if my reply to Luke is overtly blunt but he was told that it was nothing to do with me and yet chose to post up selected parts of this that could be taken out of context. You have to ask why someone would do this if not to provoke a response and further his cause.

[QUOTE=The Chief;6614202]Luke i really dont think you've done anything wrong mate and i'm sure you've fallen in line with Scoobynets terms and conditions, you've not comne on here saying they're crap they're this they're that, you've simply stated that 'your' experience wasn't brilliant.

However i really dont think that PS will go pop over this and they're a lot of loyal people out there that will continue to go there due to their reputation and knowledge.

However the fact remains that a percentage of people are not 100% happy with the service and as a company they need to look at why more than the odd person is walking away unhappy.

You cant please everyone, all of the time and i bet there is not one single tuning company that has not p***ed someone off in the past - it just does not happen.

I've been in this business for over a dozen years - as a motoring journalist - and I've dealt with just about every tuning company in the UK - and not just Jap tuners either. And in all that time I can't remember ANY company that has a 100 % perfect record with their customers - there's always at least one customer or 'mate of a mate' who had a bad experience, however good the reputation of the company might be. BUT name any business which doesn't get complaints - nobody is perfect all the time - even I've been known to make the odd mistake...

Is that a Sarfen saying me old monkey spunk?

As someone else said you cant please everyone all of the time - no matter who you are you will get the odd disgruntled customer.

Webby: this must be difficult seeing as Powerstation are one (if not the) biggest supporters of Scoobynet and your car, but being a public forum people are expressing concerns with the service received at Powerstation.
and it has been more than one or two people.

in the end it didn't turn into a slagging off match and PS is crap thread, as i'm sure as i do know plenty of people who have had work done and are over the moon (CW42's mapping sesh springs to mind, he still goes on about it today)

behind the scenes i'm not sure if PS have been in touch and asked you for your intervention (i would have if it had been me) and i'm sure although they have not posted they have taken onboard things that have been said on here (to a degree anyway)

so let them put things right and get on with making super fast Subarus.

The Chief,
PowerStation's position within the ScoobyNet community is of no consequence to how this thread has/will be moderated. If that was the way we conducted ourselves on ScoobyNet the thread would of been closed or deleted ages ago.

PowerStation have not been in touch with me about this thread, as they know the rules and constraints as much as anyone else does.

Yes my car has been worked on by them. Yes I have been 100% satisfied with both the work and service, but this is the same as any professional company that has worked on the Spec C (I don't choose any old monkey to work on my car ). No sepcial treatment is given, however good the service received, as I am sure you are aware.

As you say, everyone has their opinion, but I thought it best to make our position clear on threads like this, so it does not become a requirement to have to moderate it.

As far as I can see someone has not been happy, and PowerStation has responded. To what level is entirely up to them.

Whatever a company charges for its service is quite frankly down to that company.... if people dont want to pay that, then they don't have to go there.
