Phill, sorry if i'm a judgmental "idiot" for having an opinion, but do a straw poll out there about how people perceive people with tongue piercings if you think we're all wrong. By all means do your own thing, i'm all for that, but why make yourself look cheap in order to achieve that - there are plenty of other much classier ways of expressing your individuality

I'm not here to start an argument, i'm just adding my incidental opinion that a tongue piercing looks more chav than Canvey caravan park, and there will come a day when you realise that too, believe me.

 

Why not start a poll on whether people think tongue oeircings look nice or not, then we can get a true figure!

No i realise that's not the main reason for doing it Phill, but do you REALLY think people look at people with tongue piercings and say "Wow, he/she must be a right adventurous sort in the bedroom, what i'd give to find out what that feels like". Er no, they don't.

 

My own personal thoughts are that it makes you look a bit daft, I've always thought of it as a sort inferiority thing, ie: people aren't happy with something about themselves so make up for it by trying to look cool and different and adventurous, when really they are the opposite, but don't want people to know that.

Similar to tattoos I guess. I'm sure that's not always the case, but it just springs to mind when I see them.
