its a few things really...

but mainly i cant do the knockhill event anyway, they want people to do them all and i cant do that. So its a no brainer really.

Wouldnt be happy about shelling out nearly 1k for it either. Ill have to keep myself entertained in other events i suppose. Shame really but thats how it goes.

of course if they don't fill the 30 places then you might be able to do 2 of the rounds that will qualify you for the final, although you're paying for the final upfront, what happenes if you don't qualify?

hmmmm - would love to know how the entry has thinned out.

Most people i speak to seemed to have changed their minds about doing this

That is so often the case!
Lots of interest/intent till the crunch comes then it allways thins out to the hardcore.
Exactly the same in hillclimbs.

Kev - there is no qualification for the final round - the winner will be the one after the final with the most points. So to maximise your chances of winning you will have to compete in all 4 rounds. Mind you I suppose if you only entered 3 and won them all then you could still be up there in the top 3 at the end of the season

Not at all in my case graham, im not cancelling my wedding just to go to scotland......slightly more cash involved in that im afraid!

IF however there is leyway in paying for 3 or even 2 then i may reconsider, given the effort that ive been putting it to prepare the car (as i would hate to think ive wasted my time)

Why didn't you just sell your place at the knockhill round and do the other rounds? just pretend you had an off at that round and scored no points
