Wink

Andy just logged on and seen this god you must be so pissed off. Why can't peole drive!!! Mine was not as bad as yours when an Audi (obvioulsy too big for him) reversed into my car when it was parked outside my house. He said he didn't see it

IT WAS BROAD DAYLIGHT!!!!!

It is just the inconvenience of it all and then you feel the car never drives the same again.

Keep smiling mate one consolation is it could have been worse.

It's not that its in a driver's job description to intentionally bash every car they see when performing manouvers, no matter how ill-thought out. Now is it?
Did you miss the bit in the first post which said he was about to just drive off? thats what got my back up and i certainly dont believe you when you say you would of just exchanged details and walked away happy

My god you SMACs bunch are a right bunch of abusive people. f**k this c**t that, pr**k this.
Tell me, do you talk infront of your kids like that too?

As for me walking away "happy", I never typed that I would be happy. But I implied that I could act in a civil manner without resorting to threatening violence or abusive language. UNlike the actions implied by the other posters in this thread.

If this is reflective of your "clan" then it makes me ashamed to have anything to do with a Subaru.

Andy.S is the ONLY person is this thread who has been civil. And the funny thing, he is the only person to have the right to to be abusive. Afterall it's his car that was bashed. Everyone else on this thread has no right to do that.

As for the rest of you stop making a mountain out of a molehill, I made a comment and all of your jump on me like you never ever made a mistake in your motoring history ever.

I can only apologise to Andy.S for degrading his thread through the fault of other SN members who have hard man attitudes and potty mouths.

Begers belief.

Seems like it

I don't know how I ended up in the Northern section, was the thread moved?

Problem is, now I've commented on the thread. I'm compelled to answer any reply aimed at me. There's no going back, so to speak

Hey Shark Man!

You should come to our meet next Thursday wearing a t-shirt that says "I'm Shark Man, please involve me in conversations that have nothing to do with me.".

That would be fun.

Well please excuse me for browsing an open public forum. Mind, since when was a car being bumped had anything to do with "Northern Meetings & Events "

Perhaps I could offer the services of our MVRA approved bodyshop as a kind gesture?

LOL. Makes a good read does this thread.

Andy_S is a top bloke and one of the longest serving SMACS members if i'm not mistaken.

I was gutted to see the pics and in my personal opinion Andy had every right to have a go at the lorry driver (it's what the driver does for a living) and I guess I'd probably have done the same in the circumstances (i've had a few close calls with wagons turning in our yard but never an actual incident so it's hard to tell exactly).

Us SMACS look out for each other, just as I imagine the LADS, CADS, WYIOC and all the others O.C's do. I'd have posted this incident in this section too if it had happened to me tbh. And it's because we look out for each other that there was a reaction to what happened. It wasn't a vendetta against all lorry drivers ( we have our own in fwdnutz ) but just trying to make light of a bad situation and show support for a fellow member.

Thing is that if you actually knew the SMACS, you'd see that 99% of the time we are having a laugh. If you came to the monthly meet I'm pretty sure all you'd see is smiling faces and people enjoying themselves.

Think I'll stop now, cos the beer has taken hold but people on SN need to take a step back and relax a little.

Hope this makes sense - it did when I typed it!!

WTF has happened to this thread LOL

Shark man the Northern Forum is the Official posting home of the SMACS thanks to the Scoobynet Bosses Hence our Badges

So it is our right to post on here, So when said wagon driver punted my car down the car park, i posted it up in the northern section so that the rest of the SMACS could see the damage!

I did not want to post it in general as it would have just turned into the usual Scoobynet farce

Cheers Andy

Right, lets get this sorted once and for all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big Bad wagon driver, turns his big yellow wagon around in a car park where Andy S's car is parked it its usual spot!

Said Big Bad Wagon driver doesnt realise that as he tries to turn his Yellow wagon around that he has made contact with Andy S's car.

Andy S sees this happen and approaches said Big Bad Wagon driver and uses tap room laungage to ask the Big Bad Wagon Driver what he is doing.

Cant see a problem there as yet.

Car needs repairing and at xmas, not good.

I do think you over reacted Andy.

You should have knocked on his cab door as said "Sorry old bean, it appears that my piece of worthless scrap has got in the way of your king of the road brigfht yellow wagon. I am so sorry I hope that none of my dull blue paint has attached it self to your yellow paint. If it has I will go and get some Meguirs polish and try to get it off for you. Would you like a cup of Earl Grey Tea just incase you are in any kind of shock."

Or you could have just pulled him out of his cab and rammed his head in to the JCB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Opps tablets wearing off.........

Free of course

(sort of off topic but....)
Maybe you could send me some details of your bodyshop then I can arrange to come down for a couple of quotes?

Dont mind us SMACS shark man, I agree with you on some points on how you have been welcomed, it's seeming to look like somthing out of muppets where a newbie sticks their ore in and gets castrated although some of it has been self inflicted

Pauls right, maybe you should come to the meet in a week and see us really. dont worry, your but in has been no where near as bad as howards first bump into the LADS, we thought he may have been lynched when he attended their meet, but all was ok
