think just the beam, bumpers are the same....if you know where to get a bumper beam though let me know as i want one!!!

2, Do you not lag the intercooler piping above the turbo, i thought this was the done thing?

thats an old picture, i now have an RCM in bay intake, the one in the picture was the hybrid one that came with my kit.

I have now put heat reflective tape on my IC pipework.....works very well, combined with the normal turbo heatshield i can rag it, stop, lift the bonnet and the pipes are still pretty cold, even when left to idle for a few minutes...

The bumper beam...surely if you could get hold of one it wouldnt be too hard to fabricate a batch, might sell rather well on here

nah i sold that in august i think, tbh there are better out there if you can be arsed to look. RCM for 400 and beyond, id say APS for up to 400

Hey I don't want to do other peoples mapping just want to save myself money I have a 100 cell sports cat that loses c 5bhp - 7 so not much there either. But like I said had the car with TMIC for a year now and no issues at all (as a daily driver) and travel down to birmingham a lot, biggest car park in UK and in record temperatures this summer so I'm still happy. I would only change to FMIC if I go the new turbo route. What turbo you looking at? As I hear new turbo and FMIC = more lag.

Hi Reano - I'm looking at a variety of options at the moment; 20G, MD321 and Owen/Garrett turbo all under consideration. I've been offered the loan of an STI with an Owen/Garrett fitted for half a day in the new year to see what kind of power driveability that gives May also consider fitting reverse inlet manifold, which considerably reduces pipework length and hence lag. You're right - FMIC doesn't give as crisp a throttle response as does TMIC

just to help you out here is some comparisons in size with a hybrid core and my ASP dr725 core both cores are for newage cars!! the aps is bigger but i dont think its worth £1k more bigger !!! plus you can see the fit of the aps on my car on the 1st page and it does fill the bumper just right

How much did you pay for your APS then ?

Mine came in at just under £1k inc VAT and Delivery.

I paid £850 for mine, low miles with a APS dump valve thrown in. Just in the right place at the right time!

I still have my old JDM cross member (promised to Neilo), but Ill take some pictures and measurements for those that need them.

Neil. YHM in response.
For those of you running top mounts, it may be worh investing in a digital guage to monitor inlet temperatures at the throttlebody. You may be very surprised and it may help preserve an odd engine on WOT operation.
