I would be interested to know in therory how fast my newage WRX with PPP would gp at the limit Any ideas? I would estimate about 140 max.
mine was probably around 144-46 ish premods with standard PPack on WRX estate. That was unverified and only on the speedo though!!

maybe it is, it does it on boost most times. in and out, like fuel cut almost. hopefully getting a remap in not to distant future, and a service too.

Had a nice run on a German autobahn in August on the way to see the German round of the WRC.

According to the GPS, 148 in Germany on the return journey from Gothenburg last August... 961 miles in 11 hours, average speed of 87mph. Fuel bill was a bit lumpy but worth it!

'Kin El ! Al these people gettin track time and a fair few with mahooosive private roads too. I am jealous as the last time I top ended a car was my Escort 1.1pop in 1992 when I was 18. I hit 105mph downhill with the wind behind me on the famous M58 towards BinDipper land from the Orrell end...

I was indeed an imbecile

I would hate to think any grown up would break a hundred on the queens highways so to guarantee their wearing of head genetalia, but it takes all sorts

i hit 140 going round a track in mine. I did almost hit the top limiter in it about a year ago on its old engine. That was while playing on a obviously 'closed section of road' with another scoob

Ive also hit the limiter on my r1 2003 when i had it!! that must be the fastest ive ever been on the roads.. that was years ago now too. Keep below a ton almost all the time now

150 which was in France, so it's completely legal!

125 on the north circ? Are you mad?

As for the bloke who thinks its insane to do more than 100 under any circumstances - are you on the correct forum? Why is 100 so much worse than 95? Police attention accepted.

155mph in heavy peak time traffic on a motorway, gps confirmed, dodging grannies n mums taking kids to school, whilst evading the law.

My forged, balanced pistons and **** oil change made a postive difference.

Ceramic, split lazer machined piston rings were probably the reason for the high speed.
