BTW has anyone got any cash money and marvelous on MP3, thinking about stuff like "mighty hard rocker"

Ive never ever seen a guy transform like dj cash money did years back on some late night TV show, would love to see that mixing footage again, mind you havent watched the DMC stuff for years so the DJs now are probably better.

Gary
Great post, used to watch DMC each year too, loved it. Cash Money and Marvellous, superb. That really takes me down memory lane.

Whilst on subject of old hip hop tracks, I am always looking for an old Kool G Rap and Polo track called "Butcher Shop". Real old school feel to it but sadly my old "tape" copy of it is chewed up, which I think I recorded from Mike Allen back in the early nineties!

And also, for any of you into old school hip hop, dug out Big Daddy Kane "Long Live the Kane" and BDP "My Philosophy" the other night, which still sound fantastic, even though they soon be 20 years old!!

yeah i heard about them. you record onto it from the source ie decks or cds, and pop it onto your ipod. havent got either...

cd recorder may be my best option. i wanted to record untouched mixes, ie didnt wanns do a mix, them faff about with all the sounds, adding and subtracting things from the original set. if i get doubel beats il improve and practise until i dont,if thevinyl crackles on a breakdown, so be it, sounds better anyway!
